Failure to follow these guidelines will result in a "deny" decision on your fee waiver request.

When completing your application, all writing submitted must be your own ideas and words. While we understand that you may wish to use ChatGPT and other AI technology to generate ideas, your responses must be written entirely in your own words and verbatim use of language produced by generative AI technology is prohibited. We reserve the right to check your responses through AI detection/plagiarism software. If it is deemed that your application is plagiarized, the admissions committee withholds the right to deny your fee waiver request.

To enter the U.S. in F-1 status, a student must be issued a form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility) by International Student and Scholar Advising of Penn State Global. ISSA is required to determine if a student has financial resources to attend school and pay for living expenses with a financial guarantee. Penn State's financial guarantee requirements for University Park students can be found at the link. Please review so you are clear what will be required of you if you are admitted.
